On behalf of His Excellency the President of the Republic Kais Saied, the Head of Government, Mr. Kamel Maddouri, will pay a visit to the People's Republic of China from September 2 to 6, 2024, to participate in the work of the China-Africa Cooperation Forum Summit.

A number of African heads of state and government will participate in this summit, which is held this year under the theme: "Joining forces to advance modernization and build a high-level Chinese-African community with a shared future", and will address issues of governance and administration, industrialization and agricultural modernization, peace and security, and high-quality construction of the Belt and Road Initiative.

The Head of Government will be accompanied on this visit by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad, Mr. Mohamed Ali Nafti, and the Minister of Industry, Mines and Energy, Ms. Fatima Thabet Chiboub.
